1982年 福岡生まれ。音楽家として2013年にNYへ渡り、イサム・ノグチの作品にインスピレーションを受け、帰国後、アーティストになることを決意する。2015年、彫刻家のアシスタントとして働いていたことがきっかけで陶芸をはじめ、翌年にはミッドセンチュリーモダンにインスピレーションを得た陶器レーベルとしてKANSAI NOGUCHI STUDIOを立ち上げる。その後、国内外で個展を開催し、陶器、 版画、水墨画、抽象オブジェなど制作し続けている。



Kansai Noguchi
Born in Fukuoka in 1982. In 2013, he moved to New York as a musician, where he encountered the works of Isamu Noguchi—an experience that deeply inspired him. Upon returning to Japan, he made the decision to pursue a career as an artist.
In 2015, while working as an assistant to a sculptor, he was introduced to ceramics. The following year, he established KANSAI NOGUCHI STUDIO, a ceramic label inspired by mid-century modern aesthetics.
Since then, he has held solo exhibitions both in Japan and abroad, continually producing works that span ceramics, printmaking, ink painting, and abstract objects.
